Michelle Molinaro


Michelle graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s in Psychology. She began her career in property management in 1996 as a Leasing Consultant for Trammell Crow Residential Services in Overland Park, KS. In 1997, she was presented with the National Achievers Circle award in Chicago, IL. One year later, all Trammell Crow properties in Kansas were sold to AMLI Residential. After 2 years of leasing with AMLI, she was promoted to Leasing Manager in 1998 and soon after, received the regional Leasing Consultant of the Year award.

Nina Troester


Nina holds a BA in Communication Studies from the University of Kansas. She started in the property management industry in 1996 as a Leasing Consultant for Trammell Crow Residential Services in Overland Park, KS. The property was later part of a small portfolio that was purchased by AMLI Residential. In 1998, she was promoted to Assistant Manager and was recognized regionally with AMLI Residential’s Assistant Manager of the Year in 1999. This also earned her two nominations in a row for Best Asst. Manager for the Kansas City’s Apartment Association’s Crystal Merit Awards (AAKC).


30 years of experience in the industry



In 2000, she was promoted to Community Manager and stayed in that position until 2005. She was a trainer/mentor for 5 years and served on AAKC’s fundraising committee for 3 years. She was recognized regionally in 2003 with AMLI’s Star Performer award, and again that same year nationally with AMLI’s Spirit of AMLI award. Both honors led her to another AAKC Crystal Merit nomination. In 2003, her property was ranked # 2 among AMLI’s 75 communities on the resident satisfaction survey (CEL) and # 9 in 2004. Her property was also ranked second in AMLI’s year-end nationwide performance scale in 2004.


Nina is a NAA Certified Apartment Manager (CAM), and an AMLI Certified Manager (ACM). In addition, she was an apartment mystery shopper for a nationwide company for 3 years. She was awarded the FIRE Foundation Volunteer of the Year in 2017.


Nina coordinates the bookkeeping and mystery shopping division of Savvy, as well as teaches training seminars.  She currently resides in Kansas City, MO with her husband, Steve, their boys, Jack and Joey. 

In 1999, Michelle was promoted to Regional Activities Director in KS and was responsible for all volunteer projects, resident activities, employee activities and company events. She was team captain for Race for the Cure walk, benefiting the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer for several years, recruiting walkers, and raising thousands of dollars. Under her direction, AMLI proudly won “Best Community Events” at the annual Crystal Merit awards- Apartment Association of Kansas City (AAKC) 6 years in a row. In 2000, Michelle also won a “High Achievement” and “Unsung Hero” award followed by the National “Spirit of AMLI” award in 2005.


Michelle served on AAKC’s public relations and volunteer committees for several years. In addition, she served as the head of AMLI Culture Club committee for 4 years, a regional focus group for employee recognition and retention. Michelle is a consultant for Greystar KC as a Management Liaison.


Michelle coordinates the training division of Savvy, as well as teaches training seminars.  She resides in Leawood, Kansas with her husband, Adam, and their boys, Jacob and Asher.
